Ford Aussie Hoops is the perfect introduction to basketball for young players, designed to build confidence, coordination, and a love for the game in a fun and supportive environment.
Focused on learning through play, Aussie Hoops helps kids develop fundamental skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting, all while making friends and staying active.
With modified activities and a strong emphasis on enjoyment, it’s the ideal first step before moving into junior domestic competition.
A great way to get started, build skills, and fall in love with basketball.
Sessions Wednesday night at Newhaven College.

6 Ford Aussie Hoops Sessions – Each Term

WHEN:
Wednesdays
COST FOR 6 SESSIONS:
$66 inc GST plus Basketball Victoria and Basketball Australia fees. Limited spots available.
REGISTRATION:
Registrations are completed on a term by term basis. All participants must register each term, as enrolments do not automatically roll over into the next term.
All registrations must include the Basketball Victoria (BV) and Basketball Australia (BA) fee. This fee is charged each term by BV and covers insurance, licensing and other administrative costs.
WAITLISTS:
We endeavour to offer as many basketball programs as possible, however we do expect this program to reach capacity.
Once capacity has been reached, please join the waitlist and we will contact you if a spot becomes available.
Spots will be offered in order of registration on the waitlist.
WHAT TO BRING:
Participants are required to bring a size 5 Ford AUSSIE HOOPS basketball, Singlet and drink bottle to each session. Please ensure your child is wearing closed toe sports shoes.
