Our award winning Hoopstars program is the ideal next step for young players ready to build on their early basketball experience.
Combining skill development with an introduction to game play, Hoopstars is designed to bridge the gap between Ford Aussie Hoops and U10 Domestic Competition.
Players develop key basketball fundamentals, learn game rules and build basic team concepts in a fun, supportive and engaging environment.
It’s the perfect way to prepare for junior competition while building confidence and growing a love for the game.
Sessions run on Wednesday nights at Newhaven College.

WHEN:
Wednesday nights – 4:30pm to 5:10pm
COST FOR 12 SESSIONS:
$132 inc GST plus Basketball Victoria and Basketball Australia fees. Limited spots available.
REGISTRATION:
Registrations are completed on a term by term basis. All participants must register each term, as enrolments do not automatically roll over into the next term.
All registrations must include the Basketball Victoria (BV) fee. This fee is charged each term by BV and covers insurance, licensing and other administrative costs.
WAITLISTS:
We endeavour to offer as many basketball programs as possible, however we do expect this program to reach capacity.
Once capacity has been reached, please join the waitlist and we will contact you if a spot becomes available.
Spots will be offered in order of registration on the waitlist.
WHAT TO BRING:
Participants are required to bring a size 5 basketball and drink bottle to each session. Please ensure your child is wearing closed toe sports shoes.
